Tailoring & Cutting Program
The Tailoring & Cutting Program at Central Girls Vocational School equips students with the practical skills, technical knowledge, and creativity needed to succeed in the fashion and garment industry. The program focuses on hands-on learning, enabling students to design, create, alter, and produce high-quality garments while developing strong entrepreneurial skills.
Students are trained in garment construction, pattern drafting, fabric selection, cutting techniques, machine operation and maintenance, dressmaking, fashion design, measurements, garment fitting and alterations, embroidery, quality control, and small business management. Through practical projects, learners gain experience in producing a wide range of clothing for different occasions and customer needs.
Graduates of the program are prepared to work in fashion houses, garment manufacturing companies, tailoring workshops, and textile businesses, or to establish and manage their own tailoring and fashion enterprises. At Central Girls Vocational School, we empower young women with the confidence, creativity, and practical expertise to build successful careers in the fashion industry and become self-reliant entrepreneurs.
