On February 6th and 7th, 2026, the Eriot Recreation Centre in Gayaza hosted a strategic gathering where personnel from the Anthill Foundation and Central Girls Vocational School (CGVS) participated in a comprehensive two-day training initiative. The program focused on "Resource Mobilization & Strategic Donor Mapping, Communication, Proposal Excellence, and building Corporate Partnerships," designed to bridge day-to-day operations with organisational growth.
The workshop brought together administrative, technical, and vocational teams to break down departmental silos and strengthen collaboration — reinforcing CGVS's standing as a premier institution for quality learning and societal progress in Uganda.
Training modules delivered by expert facilitators included:
Resource management strategies led by Nshuti Elve
Grant proposal composition techniques guided by Caroline Achola
Donor engagement communication led by Board member Mr. Dokoria Dennis
Administrative modernisation incorporating AI and cloud technologies
The institution views this professional development as an obligation to its students and community. By strengthening external relationships and embedding excellence throughout operations, CGVS maintains its dedication to generational empowerment. As emphasised in the training materials: "To remain impactful in a dynamic development landscape, our staff must possess high-level adaptive leadership and technical proficiency."
